Smart Time Mobility
Any timekeeping professional would agree that mobility is no longer a feature to consider when evaluating a device or software, but an essential component that must be inherent in the product.
Smart WebParts recognizes this need for genuine, easy-to-use mobility, which is why we’ve developed a suite of components that offer true mobility for the timekeeping professional.
The Mobility Suite is available as an add-on to Smart Time Enterprise, making it a complete, end-to-end timekeeping solution. Further, the Mobility Suite is available as a standalone package for firms that want to add mobility to their legacy timekeeping environments.
Smart Time for Tablets
It’s clear that tablet computers are changing the way we work. Although the iPad is dominant right now, we anticipate Android and Windows tablets will gain market share in the workplace.
In order to support multiple platforms, we’ve built a browser-based solution (in HTML5) that offers a single code set to support every tablet browser. This format enables users to get the benefits of the Smart Time system without worrying about updating an app; instead, this model instantly delivers the most up-to-date version of Smart Time directly to the device.
Smart Time for Tablets offers a simple, seamless user experience, giving timekeepers an intuitive way to enter time when they are on the go. With Smart Time for Tablets, you can: enter and submit time from anywhere and at any time, worldwide, with a Wi-Fi or 3G connection; and, access all your data in real time.
Mail-It
Flexibility and accommodating users’ needs is essential to timekeeper compliance, which is why we’ve developed yet another mode for timekeepers to submit their time. Mail-It is simply a way for timekeepers to email a time entry directly into Smart Time.
As easy as sending an email, Mail-It works by having a firm email address (e.g., time@lawfirm.com) to accept emailed entries. The Mail-It program then monitors this inbox for incoming time entries. As soon as the email is received, the program parses the email, validates the data, creates the time entry and inserts it into Smart Time.
That’s it. No additional burden for the timekeeper, and a way to submit time when email is the best or the only option.
